Snowman
What initially started as a study of procedural knitting in Houdini soon became the snowman.
Was fascinated with the Entagma tutorial, and used it as a starting off point for this study. The base clothing geo was created in Marvelous Designer.
The knitting pattern was then projected and deformed based off their UVs. After the knit geos were created, I created a simple groom to get the fuzzy look. Some snow was then scattered over the clothing using some scatter, copy to points, and vdb nodes.
The snowman base and the rocks were procedurally generated, and I grabbed a megascans carrot to complete the look. Rendering was done in Houdini and Arnold.
Decided to play around with the AOVs in Nuke afterwards to see if I could place it in a winter-esque scene via a slap comp.
